The day is built around two focused sessions, so you can choose the one that fits your role or attend both:
Session 1 | 11.00 am – 1.00 pm
For counsellors and agents
When a client asks, "Can I use LanguageCert for my visa?" or "How does it compare with IELTS or PTE?", having a clear and accurate answer matters. This practical session is designed around the questions you hear every day. You'll learn to:
✔ Understand which Australian visa and study pathways accept LanguageCert
✔ Explain how LanguageCert Academic works and how it differs from IELTS and PTE
✔ Prepare clients for what to expect before and on test day
✔ Access practical resources to support your client consultations
Session 2 | 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
For teachers, trainers and test preparation providers
This session focuses on the classroom, giving you advanced techniques to prepare students confidently for LanguageCert Academic. You'll learn to:
✔ Understand the test format, task types and what each skill assesses
✔ Apply proven classroom techniques and activities for each section of the test
✔ Guide students on the strategies that make the biggest difference on test day
✔ Access preparation materials and teaching resources for your courses
Participants in either session will receive a Digital Badge for their LinkedIn profile.
Both sessions are led by Angela O'Sullivan and Dr Patrick Pheasant.
