We are currently opening a day program and you can begin with us from the ground floor. Our goal is to have a very successful program happily serving many
participants and their families.

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Day Program Assistant to support daily recreational, educational, and community activities for our adult participants. In this role, you will help create a safe, engaging, fun, and welcoming environment while providing direct support and meaningful daily interactions for those with intellectual and developmental
disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Activity Support: Assist lead staff in planning, preparing, and actively leading daily recreation, arts, crafts, and social events.
Participant Care: Provide respectful, hands-on support for activities of daily living
(ADLs), including mobility, transitions, and care as needed.
Safety Supervision: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all participants during onsite activities, community outings, and transit times.
Communication: Maintain positive, professional communication with participants,
family members, and care teams. We appreciate Spanish and American Sign Language.
Documentation: Complete daily attendance logs, incident reports, and activity
evaluations accurately and on time.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: At least 1 year of previous experience working with adults, or individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities is preferred.
Requirements: Clean driving record, willing to drive accessible van, clean background check, willing to work as a team.
Interpersonal Skills: High energy, patience, empathy, kindness, compassion, and astrong creative approach to engaging participants.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, assist with lifting or transferring, pushing wheelchairs, use various equipment to assist participants (able to lift up to 50 lbs).
Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. We encourage CNA’s to apply. We provide CPR and First Aid certifications, QMAP Training (Medication
Administration)
What We Offer
Competitive hourly wage of $20.00 - $22.50 per hour.
Consistent daytime schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
