• ENERGY SECURITY EXCELLENCE AWARD ENTRY FORM

    The purpose of this Award is to recognise organisations, teams, partnerships or projects that have made an outstanding contribution to strengthening the UK's energy security through the delivery, optimisation, reliability or resilience of offshore energy systems.  This award celebrates achievements that ensure secure, affordable and sustainable energy supplies through innovation, operational excellence, collaboration and effective stewardship of critical offshore energy infrastructure. It aligns with the industry's role in supporting domestic energy production while enabling the transition to a lower-carbon energy system.

    The judges are seeking evidence of demonstrable impact in one or more of the following areas:

    Production Reliability

    Sustaining or increasing domestic energy production
    Improving operational uptime
    Reducing unplanned outages
    Enhancing asset integrity and resilience


    Infrastructure Security

    Protection and optimisation of critical offshore infrastructure
    Export route resilience
    Pipeline and terminal reliability
    Supply chain resilience


    Operational Excellence

    Increased recovery from existing assets
    Improved production efficiency
    Reduced deferment
    Innovative field life extension


    Collaboration

    Cross-industry initiatives supporting national energy resilience
    Operator-supply chain partnerships
    Shared infrastructure solutions


    Transition and Security Integration

    Projects demonstrating how energy transition activities can enhance energy security
    Electrification, carbon storage, hydrogen or other initiatives that improve long-term system resilience
     
    Measurable Impact

    Nominees should demonstrate tangible outcomes such as:

    Additional barrels of oil equivalent delivered
    Production uptime improvement
    Reduced infrastructure risk
    Enhanced resilience of energy supply
    Economic benefit to the UK
