Survivor Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in joining the Arizona Human Trafficking Survivor Coalition (AZHTCO).
AZHTCO is a Jesus-focused, survivor-led coalition dedicated to bringing survivors together to strengthen prevention, education, advocacy, legislation, and long-term survivor protections throughout Arizona. Our work is guided by our faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to treating others with compassion, dignity, integrity, and respect.
To be eligible for survivor membership, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, currently reside in Arizona, and be survivors of human trafficking.
We are a working coalition seeking survivors who are committed to collaboration, active participation, and creating meaningful change.
You are not required to share the details of your trafficking experience to apply. We respect your privacy, personal boundaries, and decision about what you choose to share.
All applications are reviewed by coalition leadership. Selected applicants may be invited to participate in a virtual or in-person interview before being considered for a 90-day provisional membership.
A MESSAGE TO SURVIVORS
Your experience matters. Your voice matters. And you deserve to have a place at the table where decisions are being made about human trafficking prevention, survivor protections, and legislation.
The Arizona Human Trafficking Survivor Coalition brings survivors together to turn lived experience into meaningful change.
You do not need to be a public speaker, an experienced advocate, or someone who has previously worked with a nonprofit to apply.
We are looking for survivors who want to contribute, collaborate, and help make Arizona a safer place.
Your story belongs to you. Your voice can help create change.
Survivor-Led Leadership
AZHTCO is led by survivors who have personally experienced grooming and human trafficking. Our leadership brings lived experience, understanding, and a deep commitment to creating meaningful change.
We believe those who have experienced exploitation should have a voice in shaping the education, advocacy, legislation, and protections intended to prevent trafficking and support survivors.
Our leadership is not only advocating for survivors. We are survivors working alongside other survivors to create change.
