This educational event is specifically designed for legislative staff on October 20, 2026 with lunch served at 11:45 and the program beginning promptly at noon.
Attendees will hear from panelists about the reality of youth homelessness in California and in their member's district. Experts will discuss recent laws and investments aimed at addressing youth homelessness like the Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention program, existing data and their limitations, and early successes and gaps in services.
Attendees will have time to connect with the experts and with each other and ask critical questions related to challenges youth face today.
