Join artist Claudia Maysen for a Papel Picado/Cut-Paper workshop exploring her take on the traditional Mexican paper-cutting technique.
Using Tyvek, a durable, paper-like construction material featured in her current exhibition, *Beyond Papers, People* (on view at OC3 through November 14), participants will create their own cut-paper designs. Unlike traditional tissue paper, Tyvek is resistant to tearing, making it easier to experiment and learn.
Participants can also add color and texture with watercolor crayons, giving their creations an illustrated, storybook-like quality inspired by Maysen's paper dolls.
No experience necessary! Materials Provided. FREE.
