Please answer the questions below that acknowledge our standards for participating as a Volunteer at Dignity Day. These are made to ensure our attendees can expect dignity and respect at our event.
Do you agree to follow all Dignity Day volunteer guidelines, safety procedures, and instructions provided by Changing Homelessness staff before and during the event?
Do you agree to conduct yourself safely and responsibly, remain aware of your surroundings, and notify a Changing Homelessness staff member of any safety concerns during the event?
Do you agree to protect the privacy and confidentiality of Dignity Day attendees and not share or disclose personal or identifying information you may learn while volunteering?
Do you agree not to photograph, film, record, or post identifiable Dignity Day attendees without appropriate permission or direction from Changing Homelessness staff?
Do you acknowledge and agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or recorded while volunteering at Dignity Day and that Changing Homelessness may use this material for organizational communications, social media, event promotion, and other marketing purposes?
Do you agree to follow the direction of Changing Homelessness staff and perform only the volunteer duties or responsibilities assigned to you?
I understand that Changing Homelessness is under no obligation to provide, carry, or maintain medical, health, disability, or other insurance coverage for any volunteer. Unless specifically stated in writing, I understand that there is no employment security insurance provided to me by the State of Florida during my time as a volunteer with Changing Homelessness.
I acknowledge that volunteering for Dignity Day may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to interacting with members of the public, and helping vendors set-up and breakdown. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseeable or not, and agree that Changing Homelessness, Inc. shall not be held liable for injuries, illness, or other harms not directly caused by the organization’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
