About us
Green Scene Energy PLC is a women-led Ethiopian clean energy company. We design, supply and install solar power, battery storage and solar water pumping for hospitals, health centres, schools, embassies, factories and farms, and we make the TOLO induction cookstove in Addis Ababa.

The role
Solar Installation Engineer (Site), several positions. You report to the Site and Crew Coordination Engineer. You are based in Addis Ababa and spend weeks at a time on project sites across Ethiopia, including Gambella and Somali regions.

What you will do
- Install PV arrays, mounting structures, DC and AC wiring and distribution boards
- Install and commission hybrid and off-grid inverters and lithium battery banks
- Install solar water pumping systems
- Test, commission and hand over systems, with test results recorded
- Keep daily site reports, photos and safety records
- Lead or support a small installation crew

What we need
- BSc in Electrical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or TVET Level IV Electrical
- At least 3 years of hands-on solar installation work
- At least 10 systems you installed yourself
- Willing to work away from Addis Ababa for weeks at a time
