In 2027, two nationally renowned organizations will join forces for the 2027 NAQ & CQL Conference: United & Ignited, from 8/10/27 - 8/13/27 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, IN. Disability professionals will come together to spread best practices, share success stories, and explore effective solutions, all while building vital networks. The impact is stronger supports and services, expanded opportunities, and new possibilities for people to thrive, belong, and pursue what really matters.

With that, NAQ and CQL are seeking presentations from those who will share innovative and creative solutions that promote person-centered practices, support people to achieve their dreams, spark innovation in service delivery, empower support staff, drive organizational transformation, and more.

Proposal Guidance

We’re excited about your interest in sharing your knowledge, ideas, and experiences with conference attendees! Here are a few important details to keep in mind as you prepare your breakout session proposal:
- Proposal Deadline: Please submit your proposal by December 2, 2026.
- Breakout Session Dates: Wednesday 8/11/27 & Thursday 8/12/27.
- Session Length: Breakout sessions are one hour in length.
- Session Focus: Sessions should focus on meaningful, practical content for attendees. Note: Proposals designed to promote or sell paid products or services will not be accepted.
- Conference Registration: Presenters who would like to enjoy the full conference experience beyond their own breakout session will need to pay for conference registration to take advantage of the many opportunities to learn, connect, and engage with fellow attendees.
- Travel & Lodging: Presenters are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements and covering those expenses.
- Proposal Selection: NAQ & CQL will notify presenters of selected proposals in early January 2027.
