Buffalo's Financial Core sits at the heart of a city experiencing significant investment & transformation - but what will it take to create similar momentum along Main St.? Join AIA Buffalo/WNY for a multidisciplinary discussion bringing together leaders from government, housing, community development, private development, and architecture to explore practical strategies for revitalizing Buffalo's Main Street Financial Core. The conversation will examine how housing and adaptive reuse, public and private investment, infrastructure, community amenities, and thoughtful design can work together to attract residents, businesses, and continued investment downtown. Rather than approaching these challenges from a single perspective, the panel will explore what is working, what barriers remain, and how the public and private sectors can collaborate to create a more vibrant, equitable, and economically sustainable downtown community.
