CAPTCHA Exemption Terms

Patient Triage – what your practice is agreeing to

Accurx uses CAPTCHA (a short "I'm not a robot" check) on your Patient Triage form. It stops bots flooding your form with spam. You've asked us to switch it off so your third-party integration or AI receptionist can keep working. By accepting these terms via this opt-out form, your practice agrees to the terms and risks below.

1. Integrations and AI receptionists are not supported by Accurx

We don't support, approve or test third-party integrations or AI receptionists that connect to Accurx. Your third-party integration or AI receptionist may stop working at any time and our support team can't help with it. Switching off CAPTCHA is a temporary arrangement to avoid disruption, it is not approval of your third-party integration or AI receptionist. Our Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy still apply.

2. The risks you're accepting

Without CAPTCHA, your form is easier for bots to target. This may mean:

spam or fraudulent requests reaching your inbox, creating extra work and making genuine requests harder to spot;

bots triggering large numbers of verification text messages (known as "SMS pumping");

Accurx having to take other steps to block spam, such as blocking certain internet addresses or requests from abroad. This could sometimes stop genuine patients using your form.

3. What we ask of you

You're responsible for your arrangements with your third-party integration or AI receptionist supplier.

Tell us promptly if you see spam in your inbox.

Tell us if you stop using your third-party integration or AI receptionist so we can switch CAPTCHA back on.

4. How long the exemption lasts

You or we can end the exemption at any time by giving written notice. It will end within 30 days of the notice being received.

We can switch CAPTCHA back on straight away if we detect or suspect abuse, or need to protect patients, practices or our platform.

To end the exemption, email support@accurx.com.

5. Other terms

As far as the law allows, Accurx is not responsible for spam, disruption or other consequences that result from the exemption being in place.

Nothing else in your agreements with Accurx changes.
