Wycombe Art Journeys is a We Make Wycombe community arts project centred around High Wycombe Bus Station, using people’s stories, journeys and connections to Wycombe as the starting point for new public artwork.
We want to hear from people who live in Wycombe and find out what makes the town special to you.
Your story could be about:
- Your family, heritage or background
- Growing up in Wycombe
- People, places or communities that are important to you
- A favourite memory of Wycombe
- What makes you feel that you belong here
- A journey or experience that has stayed with you
- What Wycombe means to you today
The stories collected will help inspire a series of new artworks by lead artist Dan Wilson and five artists, which will be installed in the Bus Station.
The project aims to give the community a voice in shaping this important public space, with a particular focus on engaging young people, while celebrating the diversity, creativity and cultural richness of Wycombe.
Share your story and become part of the journey.
