  • The Review Process
Proposals will be reviewed by the En Ka Society Board-Designated Endowment Fund Grant Committee. In some cases, the Committee may make a multiple-year commitment, with the future year payment or payments subject to careful review of grantee performance.

    Determination
The Endowment Fund Committee Chair will contact the applicant via email regarding the Committee’s decision. This will be followed by a formal, mailed letter.

One Year Follow Up Reporting, or Annually if a Multi-Year Grant
Grant recipients are required to submit to the committee an annual report summarizing the status of the project, including a detailed account of how the grant money was spent and if the desired outcome was achieved. Grant monies can be applied only to the purpose for which the grant was approved. If not utilized within one year of the date of check issuance or as otherwise stipulated in the agreement, the remaining monies must be returned to the En Ka Society.
