  • 🚗 HELP US MAKE HALLELUJAH FESTIVAL AMAZING!
    We are looking for 50 decorated vehicles to participate in our Trunk-or-Treat!

    Decorate your vehicle, bring plenty of candy, and help us create a fun and memorable experience for the children and families in our community.

    IMPORTANT:
    All Trunk-or-Treat vehicles must arrive by 4:30 PM.
    Vehicles must be completely decorated and ready by 5:30 PM.

  • TRUNK-OR-TREAT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT, RELEASE & MEDIA CONSENT
    Please read carefully before registering.

    By registering to participate as a Trunk-or-Treat vehicle host at the Hallelujah Festival, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

    1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

    I understand that my participation in the Hallelujah Festival is completely voluntary and that I am participating as a volunteer.

    I understand that I am not an employee of Words Of Faith AME Church by virtue of my participation in this event.

    2. NO COST TO THE CHURCH

    I understand that I am volunteering to participate in the Hallelujah Festival and that my participation, including my vehicle, decorations, candy, games, supplies, and other materials I voluntarily provide, is at my own expense and without cost to Words Of Faith AME Church, unless expressly agreed upon in advance by the church.

    3. MY VEHICLE

    I understand that I am responsible for my own vehicle and for any decorations, equipment, materials, or other property that I bring to the Hallelujah Festival.

    I understand that Words Of Faith AME Church is not responsible for loss of or damage to my vehicle or personal property arising from my participation in the event, except to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

    I agree to exercise reasonable care in operating, parking, decorating, and securing my vehicle while participating in the event.

    4. VEHICLE MOVEMENT

    I agree that once the Trunk-or-Treat activity begins, I will not move or operate my vehicle unless specifically directed or authorized by event leadership or required for an emergency.

    I will follow all parking, traffic, safety, and event instructions provided by Words Of Faith AME Church and the Hallelujah Festival leadership team.

    5. DECORATIONS, CANDY & ACTIVITIES

    I understand that I am responsible for ensuring that my decorations, games, candy, and other materials are appropriate for a family-friendly children's event.

    I agree not to use decorations, props, games, substances, or materials that are dangerous, offensive, discriminatory, excessively frightening, or otherwise inappropriate for children.

    I will not use open flames, fireworks, weapons, hazardous materials, or other dangerous items as part of my vehicle display or activity.

    6. SAFETY

    I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions given by Words Of Faith AME Church and the Hallelujah Festival leadership team.

    I understand that children must be supervised by their parent, guardian, or accompanying adult during the event.

    I agree to immediately report any accident, injury, unsafe condition, or other concern to event leadership.

    7. PERSONAL PROPERTY

    I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings and property brought to the event.

    Words Of Faith AME Church is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, except to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

    8. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RELEASE

    I grant Words Of Faith AME Church, including its authorized representatives, permission to photograph and/or record my vehicle, decorations, display, game/activity, and my participation in the Hallelujah Festival.

    I authorize the church to use such photographs and video recordings for legitimate church and ministry purposes, including:

    Church website
    Social media
    Promotional materials
    Newsletters
    Church publications
    Event promotion
    Future Hallelujah Festival promotion
    Other church-related communications

    I understand that I will not receive compensation for the use of these photographs or recordings.

    This media consent applies to the participating vehicle and activity. It does not constitute permission to photograph or use the likeness of children or other individuals who may appear in the background.

    9. INDEMNIFICATION

    To the extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from my own negligent or wrongful acts, or those of individuals participating with me, in connection with my Trunk-or-Treat participation.

    10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

    By submitting this registration, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the participation requirements and agree to comply with the rules and instructions established by Words Of Faith AME Church and the Hallelujah Festival leadership team.

    11. CHURCH VOLUNTEERS/EVENT HOSTS

    Trunk-or-Treat vehicle hosts are responsible for their own conduct and for the conduct of anyone they bring to assist with their vehicle. Registration does not authorize any participant to act as a representative, employee, or agent of Words Of Faith AME Church.
