82nd Anniversary Polish Children to NZ celebration

On the weekend of 31 October and 1 November 2026, we will commemorate 82 years since New Zealand welcomed its first group of Polish refugee children. To mark this special occasion, two events will be held in Wellington: Saturday, 31 October 2026 – Luncheon 12.00 noon at the Angus Inn, Woburn Room, Lower Hutt A three-course meal will be served. Sunday, 1 November 2026 – Commemorative Mass Both events are open to the Pahiatua children and their families. Please complete the registration form below with your details and arrange payment for the luncheon. Cost: $70 per person for a three-course meal. Pahiatua children: No charge. We look forward to coming together with families and friends to remember and celebrate this important part of New Zealand and Polish history.
