Orange - Second Team

Black - Third Team

Purple - Fourth Team (Based on adequate trial numbers)

White - Fifth Team (Based on Minimum Age Group Requirements as per Basketball Queensland BQJBC rules)

Coaching Philosophy: What is your coaching philosophy, particularly when working with young athletes? How do you balance skill development with fostering a love of the game at the U14 level?

Communication & Engagement: How do you ensure positive communication with young athletes, especially when they’re facing challenges? How do you engage players who might be struggling with motivation or confidence? How do you build rapport with parents and keep them involved in their child's development?

Team Dynamics: How do you foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players who may have varying skill levels? How do you manage team conflicts or disagreements during games or practices?

Safety & Well-being: How do you ensure the physical and emotional safety of young athletes during practices and games? How do you address injury prevention and encourage proper warm-up/cool-down routines?

Experience & Background: What previous coaching experience do you have, particularly with U18 athletes? Can you describe a specific challenge you've faced while coaching young players and how you handled it?

Teamwork and Sportsmanship: How do you encourage teamwork and cooperation among players? How do you promote good sportsmanship both on and off the court?

Conflict Resolution: How would you handle a situation where a player is consistently disruptive or not following instructions?

Have you ever had any disciplinary action taken against you in relation to you working with children?
