WAIVER - Read & confirm agreement with the Waiver
(Must check "Yes" below in order to participate in the 5K and by checking yes, it is fulfilling the act of signing the waiver)
I understand that running/walking a road race is potentially a hazardous activity. I further understand that one should not enter a road race unless they are medically able and properly trained. I will abide by any decision of a race official relative to the participants’ ability level to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running/walking this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high/heat or humidity, traffic conditions of the road, and all such risks being understood and appreciated by me.
Whether I am signing this for myself or signing for an underage person for whom I have legal custody, I have read this and I waive and release the Freedom Food Pantry and any/all volunteers, any sponsors or their representatives/successors, or any person/entity having any kind of relationship with or role in this event from any claims or liabilities or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Freedom Food Pantry Turkey Trot.
I understand that photos may be taken on Race Day and that photos of me and/or my family members may be used to celebrate or advertise future Freedom Food Pantry benefit events. I commit myself and anyone for whom I am responsible on Race Day to a spirit of kindness and friendliness.
