Second Annual Chili Cook Off
Friday, October 30, 2026, inside the Dell Rapids Museum, during Downtown Trick or Treat. Tasting runs 5:00 to 7:00 PM and the winner is announced at 6:30 PM. Cooks need to be set up by 4:30 PM, and tables, extension cords and power strips are provided. Entering your chili is free, but you must pre-register. Tasting is $5 per person and every taster votes for a favorite. All proceeds benefit the Old Opera House Players. Entries close Friday, October 23.

I will bring at least 2 gallons of chili, cooked ahead of time and hot on arrival. I will be set up by 4:30 pm. I will bring a ladle. I or someone from my team will stay and serve my chili from 5:00 to 7:00 pm so we can answer questions about it. No exceptions.
