  • Faith Under Construction — Client Onboarding

  • Welcome to Faith Under Construction

You don't have to be perfect to begin. You just have to be willing to begin.
  • Welcome to Faith Under Construction.

    I'm glad you're here.

This onboarding process is designed to help me understand you—your goals, your experience, your health, your challenges, and what you want from coaching.

There are no perfect answers here. You don't need to impress me, use fitness terminology, or have everything figured out before you begin.

Honesty beats impressive answers every time.

Please take your time and answer each question as accurately as you can. Some questions may feel personal, especially those involving health, nutrition, or your history. That information helps me understand where you're starting so we can build appropriately from there.

Your information will be used to help guide your coaching and planning. This form is not a test, and it isn't a judgment of where you are today.

You are allowed to be a work in progress. That's what we're building from.

Faith Under Construction is rooted in Christian faith and the teachings of Jesus, but everyone is welcome here. You do not have to share my beliefs to work with me, and you can let me know whether or not you'd like faith incorporated into your coaching experience.

    Faith-rooted. People-centered.

Take a breath. Take your time.

    Let's get started. ❤️

    Teach. Train. Empower.

Before we get moving, let's make sure we're starting from a safe and appropriate place.
  • Before You Begin

Your safety matters. Before beginning a fitness program, you'll complete a physical-activity readiness screening.

This screening is designed to identify situations where additional guidance from a healthcare professional or qualified exercise professional may be appropriate before becoming more physically active.

Please answer honestly. If you're unsure about an answer, don't guess just because you think it's what you "should" answer.

This screening does not diagnose medical conditions or replace medical care. If your health status, medications, injuries, pregnancy status, or other circumstances change, please let me know so we can reassess your starting point appropriately.

Your health information deserves honesty, respect, and care.

  • Complete the Get Active Questionnaire

Before continuing, please complete the official Get Active Questionnaire provided by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP).

You can complete the questionnaire electronically or print it and complete it by hand.

    Please answer every question honestly.

If you answer YES to any question, please review the accompanying CSEP Reference Document and follow the guidance provided before beginning or increasing physical activity.

After completing the questionnaire, return here and continue with this onboarding form.

Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) — Get Active Questionnaire

    Get Active Questionnaire

  • After reviewing the readiness screening information, what is your current status?*
  • If your screening indicates a concern, or you're unsure how to interpret your result, please do not begin exercise until we've discussed it and determined the appropriate next step.

  • Medical & Health History

Your health matters. This section helps me understand your starting point so I can coach you appropriately and recognize when something may need additional medical guidance. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Just be honest about where you are today.
  • How would you describe your overall health right now?*
  • Have you ever been diagnosed with, or are you currently being treated for, any of the following health conditions?
  • Are there any current recovery or wellness concerns that may affect your ability to exercise or make healthy changes?

  • What would you most like to improve about your nutrition?
  • Have you tried any specific diets, eating plans, or nutrition approaches in the past?
  • Goals & Coaching Agreement

Let's decide where we're going—and how we're going to get there. This section helps us turn your goals into something we can actually work toward. We'll talk about what matters to you, what might get in the way, what support you need, and what we're each committing to throughout the coaching process.Your goals don't have to be perfect, and they don't have to be completely figured out yet. That's part of what coaching is for. We're going to start where you are and build from there.Progress isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about learning what works, making adjustments, and continuing to move forward.

  • Which areas would you most like to focus on?
  • Which services are you interested in receiving?
  • Your Role in Coaching

Coaching works best as a partnership. You are responsible for communicating honestly, following agreed-upon recommendations within your abilities, letting me know when something doesn't feel right, asking questions, and communicating changes that may affect your participation.

You are not expected to be perfect. The goal is to learn, adapt, and build sustainable skills.

  • My Role as Your Coach

I will provide coaching within my education, certifications, experience, and professional scope. I will work to provide appropriate instruction, education, accountability, and programming based on the information you provide.

When a concern falls outside my scope of practice, I may recommend that you seek guidance from an appropriate qualified professional.

  • Date of Acknowledgment*
     - -
2 digit month, 2 digit day, 4 digit year
  • You don't have to become a completely different person to reach your goals. We're going to build on who you are right now.

There will be progress. There will probably be a few weird days. There may even be some burpees involved. 😂

But the goal isn't perfection. The goal is to learn, grow, build strength, and create skills that can stay with you long after our coaching relationship ends.

    Teach. Train. Empower.

  • Informed Consent & Assumption of Risk

Your safety matters. Your questions matter. Your voice matters. Before participating in fitness coaching, it's important that you understand what coaching involves, the potential risks associated with physical activity, and your responsibility to communicate with me throughout the coaching process. This agreement is designed to make those expectations clear so we can begin our work together with honesty, communication, and mutual understanding.
  • Your Responsibility to Communicate

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your health, medical history, medications, injuries, physical limitations, pregnancy or postpartum status, exercise experience, and other circumstances that may affect your participation.

Please tell your coach about new or worsening pain, unusual symptoms, illness, injury, changes in medications or health status, or anything else that may affect your ability to participate safely.

You are never expected to “push through” something that feels unsafe simply because it is part of a workout. If something doesn't feel right, speak up.

  • Medical Clearance & Professional Referral

There may be circumstances where participation in certain activities should be discussed with a physician or other qualified healthcare professional before beginning or increasing physical activity.

Faith Under Construction may recommend that you seek medical evaluation, clearance, or additional professional guidance when information you provide suggests that doing so may be appropriate.

A recommendation to seek medical guidance is intended to support your safety. It does not mean that your coach is diagnosing a medical condition or determining what treatment you need.

You are responsible for following the recommendations of your healthcare professionals and for communicating any relevant restrictions, precautions, or changes that may affect your coaching.

  • Your Participation

You are choosing to participate in fitness coaching voluntarily. You have the right to ask questions, request clarification, communicate concerns, modify or stop an activity when appropriate, and discuss alternatives with your coach.

Your participation should be based on your own judgment and your understanding of your health and circumstances. You are responsible for making informed decisions about your participation and for communicating with your coach when something changes or does not feel appropriate.

  • Listen to Your Body

Exercise should challenge you appropriately, but discomfort is not something you are expected to ignore. You should communicate with your coach if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, chest discomfort, nausea, weakness, or any other symptom that concerns you.

Your coach may modify, reduce, pause, or stop an activity when appropriate. You are also encouraged to speak up at any time if something doesn't feel right.

If you experience symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency, seek appropriate emergency medical assistance rather than continuing to exercise.

  • Equipment & Training Environment

Exercise may take place in a gym, at home, outdoors, or through virtual coaching, depending on the services arranged.

You are responsible for using equipment appropriately, following relevant safety instructions, and maintaining a reasonably safe training environment. Please tell your coach if equipment appears damaged, your space presents a safety concern, or you are unsure how to use a piece of equipment.

For virtual or home-based sessions, your coach may not be able to observe every aspect of your surroundings or technique. You are responsible for communicating concerns and following instructions intended to support safe participation.

  • Virtual & Home Training

If coaching takes place virtually or in a home environment, you are responsible for choosing a reasonably safe training area and using equipment appropriately.

Before beginning an exercise, make sure you have enough space to move safely and that your equipment is stable, appropriate for the activity, and in good working condition.

You are responsible for following equipment instructions and communicating any concerns about your training environment or equipment.

Your coach may modify an exercise or recommend an alternative when your available space, equipment, or environment makes an activity inappropriate.

  • Emergency Situations

If an emergency or potentially serious medical situation occurs during a coaching session, appropriate emergency assistance may be contacted.

You authorize your coach to take reasonable steps to respond to an apparent emergency, which may include contacting emergency medical services and providing relevant information to emergency responders when appropriate.

You understand that your coach is not a medical professional and cannot guarantee a particular emergency outcome.

If you are participating virtually or remotely, your coach may ask you to contact emergency services or may contact emergency services on your behalf when appropriate. You are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact information and, when applicable, ensuring that your coach knows your current location during a session.

You understand that emergency procedures are intended to support your safety and are not a substitute for professional medical care.

  • Nutrition & Wellness Coaching

Nutrition and wellness coaching provided through Faith Under Construction is intended to offer general education, practical support, habit development, and guidance within the coach's professional scope of practice.

Coaching may include discussion of general nutrition principles, food choices, meal-planning strategies, hydration, physical activity, sleep, stress management, recovery, and other lifestyle habits that support overall wellness.

Nutrition and wellness coaching does not diagnose, treat, or manage medical conditions, eating disorders, or other health conditions requiring medical or specialized professional care.

When a concern falls outside the scope of coaching, you may be encouraged to seek guidance from an appropriate healthcare or qualified professional.

You are responsible for communicating relevant medical conditions, dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, and other circumstances that may affect your participation or the appropriateness of coaching recommendations.

  • Personal Responsibility

You understand that you are ultimately responsible for your own decisions regarding participation in coaching and physical activity.

You agree to communicate honestly with your coach, follow reasonable instructions, use equipment appropriately, and make decisions based on your individual health, abilities, and circumstances.

You understand that your coach can provide education, guidance, instruction, encouragement, and support, but cannot control every factor that may affect your health, safety, participation, or results.

You agree to tell your coach when an exercise, recommendation, environment, or coaching approach does not feel appropriate for you so that reasonable adjustments can be considered.

You understand that asking questions or expressing concerns is encouraged and does not mean you are failing or being difficult. Your participation should be an active and informed part of the coaching relationship.

  • No Guarantee of Results

Fitness, health, nutrition, and lifestyle outcomes can vary from person to person. Your results may be affected by many factors, including your starting point, health history, consistency, nutrition, sleep, stress, genetics, environment, and circumstances outside of your coach's control.
Faith Under Construction does not guarantee specific physical, medical, nutritional, performance, or other results from coaching.
Your coach will provide education, guidance, support, and appropriate adjustments based on the information available and the goals you have identified. However, coaching cannot guarantee a particular outcome, timeline, body composition change, level of strength, or other result.
The goal of coaching is to help you develop knowledge, skills, habits, and strategies that can support your individual goals and overall well-being.

  • Questions & Understanding

Please take the time to read this agreement carefully before acknowledging it.

You are encouraged to ask questions about anything you do not understand, including the nature of fitness coaching, potential risks, your responsibilities, or anything else related to your participation.

By continuing, you are confirming that you have had an opportunity to ask questions and that you understand you may communicate questions or concerns with your coach at any time.

You do not need to know everything about fitness, exercise, nutrition, or coaching before you begin. Asking questions is part of the process.

  • Before You Acknowledge

Please review the information above carefully before continuing.

By acknowledging this agreement, you are confirming that you have read and understood the information provided about fitness coaching, potential risks, your responsibilities, medical guidance, emergency situations, virtual or home training, nutrition and wellness coaching, and the absence of guaranteed results.

If you have questions or concerns, please discuss them with your coach before participating.

Your safety and understanding are more important than simply checking a box.

  • Your Right to Speak Up

Your voice is an important part of the coaching relationship.

You may ask questions, request clarification, communicate discomfort or concerns, discuss modifications, or tell your coach when something does not feel appropriate for you.

You are never expected to remain silent because you are embarrassed, unsure, or worried about disappointing your coach.

Good coaching requires communication in both directions. Speaking up helps us make better decisions together.

  • Agreement to Participate

By choosing to participate in coaching, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of the services being provided and the potential risks associated with physical activity.

You understand that your participation is voluntary and that you are responsible for communicating information that may affect your ability to participate safely.

You understand that Faith Under Construction will provide coaching within its professional scope of practice and may recommend additional guidance from an appropriate healthcare or qualified professional when circumstances warrant it.

  • A Final Reminder

You don't have to be fearless to begin.

You just need to be honest, communicate, and be willing to learn.

Your safety matters. Your questions matter. Your voice matters.

We're not here to pretend that risks don't exist. We're here to understand them, communicate about them, and make thoughtful decisions as we build from where you are.

    Teach. Train. Empower.

This Liability Waiver & Release is intended to clearly explain those risks and the responsibilities associated with participating in coaching through Faith Under Construction.

Please read this agreement carefully before acknowledging it. If you have questions about any part of this agreement, you are encouraged to ask them before participating.

By continuing through this section, you will be asked to acknowledge that you understand and voluntarily agree to the terms described below.

  • Voluntary Participation

I understand that my participation in fitness, exercise, nutrition, health, and wellness coaching through Faith Under Construction is voluntary.

I am choosing to participate based on my own decision and judgment. I understand that I may ask questions, communicate concerns, request appropriate modifications, or stop participating when I believe it is necessary.

I understand that choosing to participate means accepting responsibility for communicating information that may affect my ability to participate safely and for making informed decisions about my own participation.

  • Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in physical activity, exercise, strength and resistance training, and related coaching involves inherent and potential risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to, muscle soreness, fatigue, strains, sprains, falls, joint or muscle discomfort, aggravation of an existing condition, dizziness, changes in blood pressure, and other physical responses.

More serious injuries or medical events may also occur, including events that may require emergency medical attention.

I understand that appropriate screening, instruction, communication, exercise selection, and reasonable safety precautions can help reduce risk but cannot eliminate every possible risk.

By choosing to participate, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily accepting the inherent risks associated with the activities and services in which I choose to participate.

  • Client Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for providing accurate and complete information about my health, medical history, medications, injuries, physical limitations, pregnancy or postpartum status, exercise experience, and any other circumstances that may affect my participation.

I agree to communicate promptly with my coach about new or worsening pain, illness, injury, unusual symptoms, changes in health or medications, or other circumstances that may affect my ability to participate safely.

I understand that I should not participate in an activity that I believe is unsafe for me and that I am responsible for communicating when I need an exercise modified, paused, or stopped.

I understand that withholding relevant information or participating despite a known restriction may increase the risks associated with participation.

  • Following Instructions

I agree to make a reasonable effort to follow the instructions, recommendations, and safety guidance provided by my coach during coaching sessions.

I understand that exercises and activities may be modified based on my abilities, circumstances, available equipment, environment, or feedback during a session.

I agree to communicate if I do not understand an instruction, if I am unsure how to perform an exercise, or if an activity causes pain, unusual discomfort, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.

I understand that my coach cannot supervise activities that I perform independently outside of scheduled coaching sessions and that I am responsible for using appropriate judgment when exercising on my own.

  • Equipment & Training Environment

I understand that I am responsible for using equipment appropriately and participating in a reasonably safe training environment.

For virtual or home-based coaching, I understand that I am responsible for having adequate space, appropriate equipment, and a suitable environment for the activities I choose to perform.

I agree to communicate any concerns about equipment or my training environment and to follow reasonable safety guidance provided by my coach.

  • Medical & Professional Care

I understand that I am responsible for seeking appropriate medical or other professional care when needed and for following the recommendations of my healthcare providers.

I understand that my coach may recommend that I seek medical evaluation, clearance, or guidance when information or circumstances indicate that additional professional care may be appropriate.

I understand that coaching does not replace care from a physician, physical therapist, registered dietitian, mental health professional, or other qualified healthcare provider.

  • No Guarantee of Results

I understand that Faith Under Construction cannot guarantee specific fitness, health, nutrition, performance, body composition, or other results from coaching.

I understand that outcomes vary between individuals and may be affected by factors including my participation, consistency, health, circumstances, and factors outside my coach's control.

  • Release of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I understand that by participating in services provided by Faith Under Construction, I am accepting responsibility for the risks associated with my participation.

I voluntarily release and agree to hold harmless Faith Under Construction and its owner, coach, contractors, and service providers from claims arising from my participation in coaching activities, except to the extent such a release is prohibited or limited by applicable law.

This release applies to claims relating to injuries, illness, property damage, or other losses that may arise from my participation, including risks that are inherent in or reasonably associated with the activities and services I choose to participate in.

Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive or release any claim, responsibility, or legal right that cannot lawfully be waived or released under applicable law.

I understand that the existence of this agreement does not prevent me from communicating a legitimate safety concern, reporting an incident, or seeking appropriate medical or legal assistance when necessary.

  • Emergency Response

I authorize my coach to take reasonable steps to respond to an apparent emergency, which may include contacting emergency medical services and providing relevant information to emergency responders when appropriate.

I understand that my coach is not a medical professional and cannot guarantee a particular emergency outcome.

If I am participating virtually or remotely, I understand that my coach may need to rely on the emergency contact information and location information I provide and may direct me to contact emergency services or contact emergency services on my behalf when appropriate.

  • Virtual & Remote Coaching

I understand that virtual and remote coaching may involve limitations that are different from in-person coaching, including limitations in the coach's ability to observe my surroundings, equipment, movement, and physical responses.

I understand that I am responsible for following the safety instructions provided by my coach, maintaining a reasonably safe training environment, and communicating concerns or changes that may affect my participation.

I understand that remote coaching cannot provide the same level of direct physical supervision or emergency response as an in-person setting.

I understand that I have had the opportunity to read this Liability Waiver & Release and ask questions about its meaning or terms before agreeing to it.

I understand that I should not agree to provisions I do not understand. I may request clarification from my coach, and I may seek independent legal advice if I have questions about my legal rights or this agreement.

  • A Final Reminder

This agreement is intended to help make the responsibilities and risks of participation clear.

Your safety matters, and honest communication is an important part of protecting it. Please continue to communicate with your coach about changes in your health, injuries, symptoms, circumstances, or anything else that may affect your participation.

Thank you for taking the time to read and understand this agreement.

    Teach. Train. Empower.

  • Policies & Coaching Agreement

The practical details of working together—so we both know what to expect.
  • Our Coaching Relationship

Welcome to the practical side of coaching.

This agreement explains how Faith Under Construction operates, what you can expect from me as your coach, and what I ask from you as a client.

My goal is to create a coaching relationship built on communication, respect, honesty, accountability, and flexibility. Life doesn't always follow the plan, so these policies are designed to create clear expectations while still leaving room for real life.

Faith Under Construction is built around Teach. Train. Empower. That means my role isn't simply to tell you what to do. My goal is to teach you skills, train with you appropriately, and empower you to become increasingly confident and capable in managing your own health and fitness journey.

  • Services & Scope

Faith Under Construction may provide services including personal training, strength and resistance training, body-sculpting-focused training, glute-focused training, general nutrition education, health coaching, wellness education, habit development, accountability, and lifestyle support.

The specific services provided to each client will depend on the service selected, the client's goals and circumstances, and what is appropriate within the coach's education, certifications, training, and professional scope of practice.

Coaching recommendations may be adjusted as your goals, abilities, health information, circumstances, or needs change.

Faith Under Construction does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or other professional healthcare services outside the coach's qualifications and scope of practice.

When a concern falls outside the scope of coaching, you may be encouraged or referred to seek guidance from an appropriate qualified professional.

  • Scheduling & Appointments

Appointments are scheduled in advance between the client and coach.

Clients may schedule appointments directly through the Faith Under Construction online booking system when online booking is available. Clients may also schedule appointments directly with their coach when preferred or when assistance is needed.

When using online booking, available appointment types, dates, and times shown are subject to availability. Clients are encouraged to review appointment details carefully when booking, including the service, date, time, and appointment format.

For in-person appointments, please arrive with enough time to get settled and ready to begin.

For virtual appointments, please be logged in and ready at the scheduled time.

Appointments begin and end according to the scheduled appointment time unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling

Life happens, and I understand that plans sometimes need to change.

Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice when they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will not incur a cancellation charge, unless different terms were clearly communicated for a specific service or package.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may still be charged, and the applicable session or appointment may be counted according to the service or package terms.

Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without appropriate communication may be treated as a no-show and may result in the applicable session or fee being charged.

When circumstances outside a client's reasonable control, such as a genuine emergency, affect an appointment, Faith Under Construction may consider reasonable accommodations on a case-by-case basis.

Clients are encouraged to communicate rather than simply miss an appointment. Clear communication helps us protect your time, my time, and the continuity of your coaching.

  • Late Arrivals

Please make every reasonable effort to arrive or log in on time for scheduled appointments.

If you arrive late, the appointment will generally still end at its originally scheduled time so that it does not interfere with other scheduled clients.

When appropriate and when scheduling allows, reasonable adjustments may be considered.

If you know you are going to be late, please communicate with your coach as soon as reasonably possible.

  • No-Shows

A no-show is an appointment that is missed without appropriate communication or without following the applicable cancellation policy.

A no-show may result in the applicable session or fee being charged according to the service or package terms.

Repeated no-shows may affect future scheduling or the continuation of coaching services.

If an emergency or unusual circumstance prevents you from attending, please communicate with your coach as soon as reasonably possible so the situation can be reviewed.

  • Illness & Safety

Please communicate with your coach if you are sick, injured, experiencing unusual symptoms, or otherwise believe that participating in a scheduled session may not be appropriate.

You are not expected to exercise through illness, injury, or concerning symptoms simply because you have an appointment.

Your coach may recommend modifying, postponing, or rescheduling a session when participation may not be appropriate.

If you experience symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency, seek appropriate medical attention rather than continuing a coaching session.

  • Communication

Clear communication is an important part of successful coaching.

Clients may communicate with their coach through the communication methods designated for their coaching service.

Response times may vary depending on the day, schedule, and nature of the message. Coaching communication is not intended to provide continuous or emergency availability.

Please use appropriate emergency services rather than contacting your coach when immediate medical or emergency assistance is needed.

  • Emergency Communication

Faith Under Construction is not an emergency medical service and does not provide continuous emergency monitoring.

Clients should use appropriate emergency services whenever immediate assistance is needed.

For scheduled coaching sessions, clients may be asked to provide current contact and emergency information so that reasonable emergency procedures can be followed when appropriate.

Clients participating virtually are responsible for communicating their current location when necessary for emergency assistance.

  • Payment & Fees

Coaching services, packages, memberships, or other offerings are provided according to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase or enrollment.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the applicable price, payment schedule, included services, expiration terms, and other purchase details before completing payment.

Any applicable taxes, processing fees, or additional charges will be communicated as required.

Coaching services are not considered scheduled or confirmed until any required booking or payment requirements have been completed.

  • Packages & Sessions

When services are purchased as a package or set number of sessions, the package includes the services and number of sessions described at the time of purchase.

Package sessions are intended for the client who purchased them and may not be transferred to another person unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any expiration dates, usage requirements, or package-specific terms will be communicated before purchase.

Clients are encouraged to review package details and ask questions before purchasing.

  • Refunds

Refund eligibility will depend on the service, package, payment terms, and circumstances involved.

Any refund, cancellation, or credit policy applicable to a specific service will be communicated before purchase.

If you have a question or concern about a payment or service, please communicate with Faith Under Construction so the situation can be reviewed.

  • Pausing Coaching

When circumstances such as travel, illness, injury, major life changes, or other significant events make continued coaching temporarily difficult, clients may request to pause their coaching relationship when the service or package allows.

Any applicable pause limits, payment requirements, package expiration terms, or other conditions will be communicated before or at the time the pause is arranged.

A pause is intended to provide flexibility when appropriate and does not guarantee that the same appointment times, pricing, or availability will remain when coaching resumes.

  • Ending Coaching

Either the client or Faith Under Construction may choose to end the coaching relationship, subject to any applicable service, package, payment, or cancellation terms.

Whenever possible, ending coaching should be communicated directly so that outstanding appointments, payments, records, and next steps can be handled appropriately.

Ending coaching does not prevent a client from seeking other qualified fitness, nutrition, health, or professional services when appropriate.

  • Respect & Boundaries

Faith Under Construction is committed to maintaining a coaching environment built on mutual respect, professionalism, honesty, and appropriate boundaries.

Clients are expected to communicate respectfully and to respect the coach's time, boundaries, privacy, and professional role.

The coach will likewise respect the client's boundaries, individual circumstances, privacy, and right to communicate concerns.

Harassment, threats, discrimination, intimidation, inappropriate conduct, or repeated behavior that makes a safe and professional coaching relationship impossible may result in services being paused or ended.

  • Faith & Personal Beliefs

Faith Under Construction is rooted in Christian faith and the teachings of Jesus.

At the same time, everyone is welcome here. Clients do not have to share the coach's beliefs to participate in coaching.

Clients may communicate whether they would like faith incorporated into their coaching experience. Faith-based encouragement may be included when requested or welcomed, while coaching services remain focused on the client's goals, needs, boundaries, and individual circumstances.

Respect for personal beliefs is an important part of creating a welcoming coaching environment.

  • Scope of Coaching

Coaching recommendations are provided within the coach's education, certifications, training, and professional scope of practice.

Faith Under Construction does not provide services outside those qualifications.

When a client's needs require expertise beyond the scope of coaching, the client may be encouraged to seek guidance from an appropriately qualified professional.

This may include medical, mental health, physical therapy, specialized nutrition, or other professional services depending on the circumstances.

  • What You Can Expect From Me

My commitment is to Teach. Train. Empower.

I will provide appropriate instruction, education, encouragement, accountability, honest feedback, and reasonable adjustments based on the information you provide and the services you choose.

I will respect your individual goals, circumstances, boundaries, preferences, and starting point.

I will maintain appropriate professional boundaries and work within my education, certifications, training, and scope of practice.

I will also communicate when something falls outside my role and additional professional guidance may be appropriate.

  • What I Ask From You

Your coaching experience works best when we communicate openly and work together.

I ask clients to provide accurate information, communicate relevant changes, participate honestly, follow reasonable safety guidance, respect scheduled appointments and policies, ask questions when needed, and communicate when something is not working.

You do not need to be perfect. You do need to be honest enough for us to make informed decisions together.

Your job isn't to impress me. Your job is to show up as yourself and participate in the process.

  • Progress & Expectations

Progress is individual and may not happen in a perfectly predictable pattern.

Changes in strength, endurance, mobility, habits, confidence, energy, body composition, nutrition, or other areas may occur at different rates and may be influenced by circumstances outside the coaching relationship.

We will use the goals, information, feedback, and progress markers that are appropriate for you to help guide adjustments.

Setbacks do not automatically mean that coaching has failed. They can provide useful information about what needs to change, what support may be needed, or what approach may be more sustainable.

  • Changes to Policies

Faith Under Construction may update its policies, procedures, services, pricing, scheduling practices, or other business terms as the business develops.

When a change materially affects an existing client's coaching relationship, reasonable notice will be provided when appropriate.

Updated policies will apply according to the terms communicated with the applicable service or coaching relationship.

  • Questions Are Welcome

If you are unsure about a policy, payment, appointment, service, communication expectation, or any other part of your coaching relationship, please ask.

You are not expected to guess what a policy means or remain silent when something is unclear.

Clear questions and honest conversations help us create a coaching relationship that works for both of us.

  • Privacy & Confidentiality

Faith Under Construction respects the privacy of the personal, health, fitness, nutrition, and other information you provide as part of your coaching experience.

Information you provide will be used to help understand your goals, assess your starting point, develop and adjust coaching and programming, communicate with you, document your coaching experience, and provide the services you request.

Your information will not be intentionally shared with other people or organizations for purposes unrelated to providing or administering your services unless you authorize the disclosure or sharing is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

Access to client information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for business and coaching purposes. Faith Under Construction will take reasonable steps to protect client information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Please understand that no electronic system, communication method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are encouraged to use appropriate care when sharing sensitive information through electronic communication.

If information needs to be shared with another professional or organization as part of your coaching experience, you will be informed when appropriate and, when authorization is required, asked to provide it before the information is shared.

Privacy and confidentiality do not prevent disclosures that may be required by law or necessary to address an immediate safety or emergency situation.

  • A Final Reminder

These policies are here to create clarity—not to make coaching feel complicated.

Real life happens. Schedules change. Goals evolve. Some weeks are great, and some weeks are...well, let's just say they build character. 😂

The goal is to communicate, adjust when appropriate, and keep moving forward.

Thank you for trusting Faith Under Construction to be part of your journey.

    Teach. Train. Empower.
