  • A simple need. A meaningful difference.
    COMPACT Family Services is applying for a Blue & You Foundation mini grant to launch Baby Basics, an extension of COMPACT's SafeCare prevention services in Arkansas. Baby Basics will help participating families meet one of the most basic—and most persistent—needs of caring for a baby: diapers.

  • Why diapers?
    For families already working to create safe, stable homes for their children, the recurring cost of diapers can place additional pressure on a limited household budget. Baby Basics is designed to put practical help directly into the hands of families receiving prevention services—especially during the holiday season, when household budgets can be stretched even further.

  • The opportunity: double the impact
    COMPACT plans to request the full $5,000 available through the Blue & You Foundation mini-grant program. If the grant is awarded in December, our goal is to have churches, ministry partners and donors ready to match that award dollar for dollar. A full award plus a full match would provide $10,000 for Baby Basics.

    No matching gifts will be collected unless COMPACT is awarded the grant. A commitment now simply helps us know that, if the grant is received, partners are ready to help us multiply its impact.
