TATTOO AFTERCARE

SECOND SKIN

★ LEAVE IT ON — Keep your second skin on for 3–5 days. Fluid, plasma, or ink underneath is normal.

★ REMOVE IT EARLY — If it leaks, opens, or causes significant irritation, remove it and do not reseal it.

★ TO REMOVE — Wash your hands, then gently peel it back using warm, soapy water. Go slowly and avoid pulling straight up or away from the skin.

★ AFTER REMOVAL — Gently wash your tattoo and pat dry with a clean disposable paper towel. Do not rub.

FIRST 2 WEEKS

★ WASH — Gently wash with UNSCENTED antibacterial soap or LoveBomb Foam Cleanser and lukewarm water. No scrubbing.

★ DRY — Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Do not rub.

★ MOISTURIZE — Apply a very thin layer of Hustle Butter Balm or LoveBomb Soothing Gel. A little goes a long way, don't over-moisturize.

★ AVOID — Picking, scratching or peeling, excessive sun exposure, tanning beds, rubbing and friction.

★ NO SOAKING — Avoid baths, pools, hot tubs, lakes, rivers, oceans & other bodies of water. Showers are okay!

WEEKS 2–4

★ MOISTURIZE — Use Hustle Butter Balm, LoveBomb Soothing Gel or unscented lotion as needed for dryness.

★ LET IT HEAL — Don’t pick or peel. Let any remaining flaking or scabbing fall away naturally.

★ PROTECT — Avoid excessive sun exposure and don’t swim or soak until your tattoo is completely healed.

WHAT’S NORMAL

★ Mild redness, tenderness or swelling

★ Itching, dryness, flaking or light scabbing

★ A small amount of clear or plasma-like fluid

★ A temporarily shiny or dull appearance

 

WHAT’S NOT

★ Redness, warmth, swelling or pain that’s getting worse

★ Pus, foul-smelling drainage, spreading redness or fever

★ A significant rash, allergic reaction or other concerning symptoms
