Amplify Portland Grant Application 2026/27

In partnership with Travel Portland, the Portland Events and Film Office is excited to offer a grant opportunity created to amplify stories of Portlanders. To further the mission of job growth in the Portland production community, the Amplify Portland: Local Filmmakers Production Grant aims to create opportunity for filmmakers utilizing local talent, crew and vendors during production. Our focus is on fostering outcomes that support a robust local film economy via the professional development of the local industry; and, bringing exposure to Portland through storytelling from an authentic Portland perspective.
Grant funds are intended for Portland-based (including Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, or  Clark counties) independent film productions to support and offset the cost of the production process. The funding is designed to support the production phase of local films including features, shorts, animations, documentary and narratives.

The intent of this funding is to:
1) create content that brings Portland an international spotlight;
2) build capacity of our local production institutions that grow the long-term career development of Portland talent and crew;
3) support productions that further the local film industry.

This grant is open to anyone to apply.
