• 2026 Smart Thermostat Rebate

  • HILCO Elective Cooperative, Inc. members who purchase and install a Wi-Fi-enabled Smart Thermostat are eligible for this $50 rebate. A smart thermostat is a Wi-Fi-enabled device that automatically learns and adjusts heating and cooling temperature settings in your home for optimal performance.


    There are two steps to be completed to be eligible for this rebate:

    1)  Complete the form 

    2)  Upload the following documents/pictures:
           A. A copy of your receipt.
           B. The installed smart thermostat.
           C. The HILCO Electric Cooperative, Inc. meter base located outside the home.
           D. A picture of the front of the house which shows the address of the residence.

  • Rebate requests must be postmarked within sixty days from the date of the purchase and must occur within 2026. Limited to HILCO Electric Cooperative, Inc. members only with the total of all HILCO rebates not to exceed $500 per household and/or membership per year. The smart thermostat rebate program will end when all funds are depletecl. Rebate requests received without all required information, including but not limited to the photo submission, will not be processed. Smart Thermostat rebate requests are subject to inspection by a HILCO representative prior to payment. Permanent residents or occupants may apply. Commercial builders are not eligible for rebates.
