A Stable Learning LLC Horsemanship Program Participant Agreement
Program participation is for ages 5 through adult and is by appointment only, subject to acceptance. All new participants complete an Initial HorseSense & Safety Assessment before regular lessons. The assessment fee is $45 and is separate from membership; payment may be made by Zelle, Cash App, or cash. Monthly Horsemanship Membership is $180 and includes 3 lessons per month. Lessons are up to 1 hour and by appointment only. ALL THREE LESSONS MUST BE USED WITHIN THE APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP MONTH AND UNUSED LESSONS DO NOT CARRY OVER. Individual sessions outside membership, when available, start at $65. Scheduling is subject to instructor, facility, and horse availability. A Stable Learning LLC may modify, postpone, or discontinue a lesson for participant, staff, animal, weather, or safety reasons. The facility has a covered arena so lessons generally happen rain or shine, but may still be changed for severe or unsafe conditions. Participants must follow instructor directions and barn/horse safety rules; unsafe behavior may result in a lesson being modified or ended. Mounted riding is not guaranteed every session, and lessons may include groundwork, horse care, grooming, handling, HorseSense skills, riding, and other horsemanship activities based on ability and safety needs.

I acknowledge that I have reviewed and understand the program requirements, fees, lesson limits, scheduling, covered-arena policy, safety expectations, and no-carryover policy.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
Participation in horse and farm activities involves inherent risks, including unpredictable animal behavior, falls, kicks, bites, being stepped on, equipment-related incidents, uneven or slippery ground, weather, and other risks associated with equine and farm activities. The participant, or parent/guardian if the participant is a minor, knowingly and voluntarily assumes these inherent risks and agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, to release and hold harmless A Stable Learning LLC, Duck'N Stables Farm LLC, their owners, employees, instructors, volunteers, agents, property owners, and representatives from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising from the inherent risks of participation, except to the extent a claim cannot legally be waived.
Horses are inherently dangerous animals, and all participants must follow safety rules and instructor directions at all times. If the parent/guardian or emergency contact cannot be reached, the participant or parent/guardian authorizes emergency medical assistance when reasonably necessary, and agrees to be responsible for any resulting medical costs.
This Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk will be reviewed and signed in person during the participant's first session. No electronic signature is required on this application.
This Participant Agreement does not replace separate liability, medical authorization, or emergency-contact forms. The Participant Agreement will be signed in person during the participant's first session.
