Your project site must be located in one of the following areas to qualify for the Community Livability Grant:
- Central Eastside Corridor priority areas
- Cully
- Gateway Regional Center
- Interstate Corridor
- North Macadam

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Eligible projects must provide community benefit in alignment with the established district priorities. Examples include community centers, public art, and enhanced access to health and wellness services. Projects must add, expand, or improve physical space. Furniture, equipment, programming, or other business expenses are not eligible.

Applications must include a description of planned construction (e.g. add walls to divide space, replace windows or doors, paint, HVAC, pre-development work).
Central Eastside Corridor TIF District Action Plan priorities:
- Projects located in the geographic priority areas that enhance or make improvements to the public realm (Public Realm Enhancements could include projects like permanent physical improvements to streets/public spaces for events/activations, public art, lighting installations, or projects that support the enhancement of public spaces to be more welcoming and vibrant.)
- Geographic priority areas include: Area Bounded by Morrison, MLK, Hawthorne, Water Ave, SE Caruthers between SE Grand and SE 7th Ave

- Projects that result in publicly accessible community space for gathering, education, after-school activities for children or other community uses.
- Projects that result in improved or new health and wellness services, including mental health.
- Projects that support cultural inclusion and community.
- Projects that support and drive economic development outcomes and serve individuals who have experienced displacement or not benefited from economic opportunities.

PROJECT BUDGET
Full project funding must be submitted within 90 days after award notification and project completed within one year. If these timelines cannot be met, please wait to apply when this time frame can be met.

A 50% match is required for any amount awarded beyond $200,000.
