Hello Middle School Parents,
I’m grateful and excited to host a moonthly gathering for middle school girls. We will meet on third Thursdays (plus the first Thursday of November) at the Helios Center (601 Sopris Ave.) from 5:00 - 7:30pm for chats, crafts, and nourishment. Then we will have a mini camping retreat weekend in May.
Here is the tentative plan…
November 5th
Take Home Herbal Tea Mix, Intro for the Four Phases of Her Cycle, Honoring our Ancestors, Herbs for Different Phases, the Importance of Warmth, Fire Offerings of Release, Soup, Sourdough, Pumpkin Muffins
November 19th
Embroidered Reusable Pad, Gratitude Journaling and Collaging, an Autumn Salad, and Apple Crisp
December 17th
Charades, Popcorn, Pizza, and Holiday Movie (might be a little longer)
January 21st
Face Masks, Foot Baths, Co-create a Music Playlist, and Veggie Curry
February 18th
Homemade Journals and Cards, Charcuterie Board, Chocolate
March 18th
Herstory, Creative Writing, Poetry, Henna and Quiche
April 15th
Co-Creating a Performance Piece, Painting, and Fancy Tots or Nachos
