Application Process

1- Submit Intern Application Form
This application may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to complete. Please answer each question thoughtfully and honestly. Once you have submitted your application, we will run your background check and contact your references. We recomend typing out your answers in a note or Google Doc and then copy-pasting into this application before submitting. This will prevent you from accidentally losing all your progress if you need to take a break as you thoughtfully answer each application question.
2- Evaluations Round
Once we receive your references, you will be notified if you are moving to the next round. If you are moving on to the evaluations round, you will receive an email with a few assessments for you to complete. These help us get to know you better!
3- Interviews Round
Once we receive the results from your assessments and review them, you will be notified if you are moving on to the next round. If you are moving on to the interviews round, we will contact you to set up your interviews. Interviews may include a group interview, an interview with a One Hope staff member, and an interview with the Internship Director.
4- Decision & Notification
Following your interviews, we will contact you with a decision about your application. This can be as soon as a week following your final interview.
5- Onboarding
If you are accepted for the internship, we will send you an agreement form and onboarding information. We know this is a multi-step process, and we appreciate your time. Our goal is to serve our neighborhood and our applicants well by bringing in interns who are a good fit for this program. Your desire to serve alongside us is an encouragement to us! This is an immersive internship that includes long days, study and reading, children’s and youth programming, neighborhood outreach, church involvement, and living in community with other interns. It feels like being on a mission trip for the summer. Taking classes, going on trips, or working an additional job is not usually possible. (We can usually help athletes accommodate their workouts).
