Dancing in this show is rigorous, but also fun and rewarding. All cast members are expected to conduct themselves in a committed, professional manner throughout the process. This includes respectful communication, timeliness, dedicated focus, a commitment to working through challenges, and showing courtesy to all Creative, Production and Technical teams, fellow cast members, and the Carbondale Arts staff.
Dancers are expected to attend all rehearsals barring illness or emergency, and must notify choreographers and directors promptly of unexpected tardies and absences. All expected absences must be listed in the registration form. Because the rehearsal period for the Fashion Show lasts only 12 weeks, missing too many rehearsals may result in a casting change.
Fashion Show Dance Information & Expectations
Please read the information below and complete this form to register for the 2027 Fashion Show dance auditions. You must be 18 years or older by March 11, 2027, to be cast in the show.
There are 5–7 dance positions available for this year’s show. We appreciate your talent, artistry, and interest in being part of the production. Casting is limited, and not everyone who auditions will be cast. As part of the casting process, we will also consider the number of years dancers have participated in past Fashion Shows in an effort to create opportunities and access for more members of the movement community.
If you are not cast this year, we encourage you to audition again in the future and to continue connecting with the dance community in other ways.
Important Dates:
Auditions: Sunday, November 15, 2026 | 5-7pm | The Launchpad
Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, November 24, 2026 | by email
First Rehearsal: Sunday, December 6, 2026 | 11am-2pm | The Launchpad
Schedule:
The final rehearsal schedule will be given to dancers upon acceptance. Dance rehearsals are on Sundays and Thursdays, December 6, 2026 through March 7, 2027.
Additional rehearsal days and times may be added. Dancers will be given advance notice of any changes.
Locations vary between The Launchpad and the Third Street Center.

- Sunday, March 7, 2027, 5:00-9:30pm
Tech Rehearsals (Mandatory):
- Tuesday, March 9, 5:00-11:00pm | Dance Tech
- Wednesday, March 10, 5:00-11:00pm | Full Tech and Dress Rehearsal
Fashion Show:
- Thursday, March 11 | 5:00pm Call, 8:00pm Curtain *Opening night
- Friday, March 12 | 5:00pm Call, 8:00pm Curtain
- Saturday, March 13 | 5:00pm Call, 8:00pm Curtain
