• Faith Under Construction — 3-Day Dietary Log

    Nom Nom Nom😋
  • 3-Day Dietary Log

Real life, not a report card.
  • This log is designed to give me a realistic picture of your everyday eating and drinking habits.

Please don't change your eating habits just because you're keeping a log.

I'm not looking for “perfect” days. I'm looking for a genuine snapshot of what your normal life looks like so I can better understand your habits and support you.

Pizza? Write it down. Drive-through? Write it down. Forgot breakfast? Write it down. Midnight snack? Yep, that too. 😂

There is no need to clean anything up for me. The more comfortable you are being honest, the more useful this information becomes—and the better I can help you.

Your job isn't to impress me. Your job is to give me an honest picture.

You'll record your food and drinks over three normal days. These do not need to be perfect or especially “healthy” days. Please live normally and record what actually happens.

If you forget something, simply record it when you remember. Don't abandon the day because you missed an entry.

Real life is where sustainable change has to work.

    Teach. Train. Empower. ❤️

  • What date will you begin your 3-day food log?
     - -
2 digit month, 2 digit day, 4 digit year
  • Before You Begin

  • Choose three ordinary days that give me a realistic picture of your routine.

They do not have to be consecutive days, and they don't need to be your “best” eating days.

If your schedule changes from day to day, that's useful information too.

Please don't intentionally eat differently for the purpose of completing this log. I want to understand your normal routine—not what you think your routine is supposed to look like.

Record food and drinks as honestly and completely as you reasonably can. If you don't know an exact amount, give your best estimate. If you forget an entry, simply add it when you remember.

There is nothing to fix, hide, defend, or apologize for. This is information—not a report card. ❤️

  • Day 1 — Let’s See What Real Life Looks Like

Record what you actually eat and drink today. No editing. No judgment.
  • Today is simply about observation. Record your food and drinks as they happen throughout the day.

You don't need to measure everything perfectly. Estimates are completely fine. If you know the amount, great. If you don't, describe it as best you can—“one bowl,” “a handful,” “medium fries,” “two slices,” etc.

Please include drinks, condiments, sauces, small bites, tastes, and anything else you consume. Those little things are part of real life too. 😂

Don't wait for a perfect entry. Just record what happened.

If you forget something, add it when you remember.

This is information, not a report card. ❤️

  • Day 1 —Breakfast / First Meal

If you don't eat breakfast, that's okay. Just record your first meal or let me know you skipped it.
  • Time
  • How hungry were you before eating?
  • How satisfied or full did you feel afterward?
  • Day 1 —Snack / Morning

If you didn't have a snack, that's completely fine.
  • Time

  • How satisfied or full did you feel afterward?
  • Day 1 —Lunch / Midday Meal

Whatever lunch looks like in your real life—that's what I want to see.

  • How satisfied or full did you feel afterward?
  • Snack / Afternoon

If you didn't have another snack, that's perfectly okay.

  • How satisfied or full did you feel afterward?

Dinner doesn't have to look a certain way. Record what actually happened.

  • How satisfied or full did you feel afterward?
  • Day 1 —Evening / Additional Food & Drinks

Late-night snack? Dessert? A drink while watching TV? Yep—this counts too. 😂
  • Time
  • How hungry were you before eating?
  • How satisfied or full did you feel afterward?
  • Day 1 — Daily Snapshot

A little context helps me understand the food log—not just the food.
  • How would you describe your hunger throughout the day?
  • How would you describe your energy today?
  • Day 2 — Let’s See What Real Life Looks Like

Another normal day. No need to change anything for the sake of the log.
  • Day 2 works exactly like Day 1. Record what you actually eat and drink throughout the day.

Your routine may look different today—and that's useful information. Maybe you're working, running errands, eating out, home with the family, exercising, or doing absolutely nothing productive. 😂

Don't try to make today look “better” than yesterday.

If you forget an entry, add it when you remember. Estimates are completely fine.

The goal is to understand your real routine—not create a perfect one.

Real life. Real information. No judgment. ❤️

  • Day 3 — Let’s See What Real Life Looks Like

One more normal day. No cleaning it up for me.
  • This is your third and final day of the food log.

Just like the first two days, record what you actually eat and drink. Your day may look completely different from the others—and that's okay.

Don't change your eating habits just because you're completing this log.

If you forget something, add it when you remember. Estimates are fine, and there is no need to start over because you missed an entry.

Three ordinary days give me a much more useful picture than three “perfect” days ever could.

Real life is the information I'm looking for. ❤️

  • 3-Day Reflection

  • 3-Day Reflection— Question 1

Now let's look at the bigger picture.
  • You made it through three normal days—and that's exactly what I wanted.

Before we wrap up, take a moment to think about what you noticed. There are no “right” answers here.

Maybe you noticed patterns. Maybe something surprised you. Maybe you learned absolutely nothing new. That's okay too.

This isn't about deciding whether you ate “good” or “bad.” It's about becoming more aware of what your normal routine actually looks like.

Awareness gives us something we can work with. ❤️

  • 3-Day Reflection — Question 2

  • 3-Day Reflection — Question 3

  • 3-Day Reflection — Question 4

  • 3-Day Reflection — Question 5

  • Final Acknowledgment

  • Final Acknowledgment

Thank you for giving me a real picture of your routine.
  • This log isn't a test, and I'm not looking for three “perfect” days.

Your job was simply to give me a genuine picture of what your normal eating and drinking habits look like. Thank you for being honest.

The information you've provided will help me practice identifying patterns, asking better questions, and developing nutrition and lifestyle guidance that is realistic and appropriate for the individual—not based on assumptions.

Remember, this log is one piece of information. It does not tell the whole story, and it is not a diagnosis or medical assessment.

Real life is where sustainable change has to work. ❤️

  • You're Done! ❤️

Thank you for keeping it real.
  • You made it through three normal days—and that's exactly what I needed.

Thank you for being honest and giving me a genuine picture of your routine. There is no judgment here, and there is nothing you needed to “fix” before filling this out.

I'll use this information as one piece of the bigger picture when practicing how to understand eating patterns, identify realistic opportunities for change, and build sustainable nutrition support.

Remember: the goal isn't perfect eating. The goal is learning how to make choices that work in real life.

Thank you for helping me build Faith Under Construction.
