    We understand that people may be worried about identifying themselves when raising concerns about a police investigation or disciplinary process. Your contact details are requested so that we can respond to your support request. They will not be included in anonymised reports, statistics, case studies or learning that The Family Behind the Uniform may share with relevant organisations or bodies. Information from requests may be combined and anonymised to help identify recurring themes, gaps in support and areas where processes may need improvement. This may be shared with relevant policing, welfare, professional, regulatory or government bodies to support our wider work. We will not identify you, your family, complainants, witnesses or individual officers in this material. We will not routinely share your identifiable information with another organisation without your permission. However, we cannot promise absolute confidentiality where disclosure is required by law or where there is an immediate and serious safeguarding risk. A full privacy notice explaining how information is stored, used and retained will be provided before public launch.
