Our calculator is an easy way to estimate your cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and see where you stand in terms of health risk. You'll get results like VO2 max and the metabolic equivalent of task max, or MET max, along with a classification of your fitness level compared to others of the same sex and age.
The results will be color-coded: green for low risk, yellow for moderate risk, and red for high risk. This helps you understand your estimated fitness level and how it relates to established health-risk categories.
Using the calculator is simple—just enter your age, gender, resting heart rate, height, and weight and then select your Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA) level, which refers to activities like brisk walking, running, or cycling that get your heart rate up.
IMPORTANT: You will be asked about the number of SESSIONS of exercise you complete weekly. One session equals one, 30-minute block of these activities. By selecting the right MVPA level, you’ll get accurate results that reflect your true fitness and health risk.
