Logo Contest Submission

The Island Nations Festival is excited to announce our Official Logo Design Contest! We are looking for an original logo that represents the connection between Utah and the cultures of the Pacific Islands. The design should include Utah mountains or a Utah arch at the top, ocean or wave elements at the bottom, and “Island Nations” on the first line with “Festival” on the second line. You may use our current festival logo as inspiration for the general concept and layout, but your design must be completely original. AI-generated artwork is strictly prohibited. Designs must be your own original work and must not copy or use copyrighted or trademarked artwork. Submit a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background. Designs should use 3 to 5 colors, bold and clean lines, minimal detail, no gradients, and text that is clear enough for printing and embroidery. Deadline: October 17 at 11:59 PM MST. The winning designer will receive $150. By submitting your design, you agree that if selected as the winner, ownership of the logo will transfer to Behind the Lavalava Foundation, doing business as Island Nations Festival, upon payment of the prize. The Foundation may use, modify, reproduce, and display the logo for festival-related purposes, including apparel, merchandise, signage, social media, websites, and promotional materials. The winning designer may be asked to provide the original editable design files. Behind the Lavalava Foundation reserves the right to select the winning design, make minor modifications if needed, or choose not to select a winner if no submission meets the festival's needs.
