*Completing this application does not guarantee entry to parade. All applicants must be reviewed for approval, then will receive an email from the Chamber verifying approval and providing further instructions as parade date gets closer.
*Primary contact listed below will be responsible for everyone in their party following all rules and regulations.
These are the beginning rules to give some guidelines. With this being our first year with this specific parade, further instructions on registration, check-in, line-up, etc. will come at a later date closer to event.

• Please no throwing of candy from moving vehicles. If you'd like to hand out items, you will need to have people walking alongside your float/vehicles to hand them to the crowd. We're sorry for the change, but this is a change due to insurance and outside of our control. But, it is for the safety of small children and everyone attending, so please make sure all participants follow the rules. If in doubt, please ask (or just don’t do it). Everyone's safety is our top priority.
• If entry has multiple vehicles/types of entries, please include all types (Example - float and 1 ATV, etc.) when asked on form.
• Entries are limited to up to 5 individual "pieces" per paid entry (Example - ATV "group" entry can not have more than 5 ATVs before submitting another entry.). Please do not put that you're bringing one vehicle, then show up with a vehicle plus 10 ATVs. We don't mind anyone bringing multiple entries, but we need to make sure we're prepared with enough space in our staging area.
• Pre-registration is HIGHLY recommended. "Walk-up" entries the day of the event MAY or MAY NOT be taken, depending on length of parade, type of entry, etc. Walk-up entries are at the discretion of the registration workers. Walk-up entries are responsible for paying all fees at that time by cash or check.
• If you want more than one entry together in the lineup or have specific requests, please feel free to make notes on application, but know that we can not always honor all requests. Outside of necessary requests (health reasons, etc.), parade will be first come, first serve as applications are received.
• Parade will step off at 6:15 pm. ALL entries must be in place and ready to go prior to step off. Please try your best to be on time. It will be very busy that afternoon with closed roads and a lot of traffic.
• If you know you will be unable to attend due to an emergency or have urgent changes, please let us know ASAP.
• All approved ATVs will be given a specifically colored ribbon at registration. Ribbon must be tied onto the ATV in a readily visible location at all times to participate. Unapproved ATVs are restricted and law enforcement will be asking any unapproved ATVs to leave the festival/parade area, so those authorized for the parade must have ribbon easily visible and drive safely at all times. ONLY THOSE APPROVED ARE AUTHORIZED AND CONTACT INDIVIDUAL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THEIR ENTRY GROUP.
• ABSOLUTELY NO HORSES ARE ALLOWED IN THE PARADE DUE TO INSURANCE REASONS.
• Please pick up any trash in your staging area prior to the start of the parade. We want STMS and all of Glennville looking as good or better than we found it!
• With the festival moved downtown, the parade goes directly down the main strip full of not only parade watchers, but festival goers and vendors also. It will be crowded!
• It is a tight fit in some places. Please make sure parade entries fit within the designated dimensions to travel these roads and make all turns, as well as under low power lines in places.
• Anyone acting in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave, no questions asked. We want to have a great time, but don’t want anyone hurt or any accidents.

Anyone not obeying rules or being disrespectful to parade staff volunteers, or other parade entrants can and will be asked to leave, or further action may be taken depending on the severity.
