Trail Risk Acknowledgment & Liability Waiver
I understand that the Freedom in Motion hike follows the 3.8-mile Sulphur Springs Trail at Paris Mountain State Park. The trail includes steep slopes, rocks, roots, and uneven ground. I understand that hiking involves risks, including falls, changing weather, physical exertion, encounters with wildlife, and other conditions associated with outdoor activity. I choose to participate and accept these risks. I understand that I may slow down, take a break, or stop hiking if I need to. To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law, I release Juneteenth GVL and JB’s Fitness Solutions, and their officers, employees, volunteers, and agents, from claims for injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from my participation, including claims based on ordinary negligence. This does not waive any claim that cannot legally be waived.

Juneteenth GVL and JB’s Fitness Solutions may take photos and record video or audio during the Freedom in Motion hike.
