This is for students who are currently in grade 7 and above.
Welcome to this year's preparation program for your child's confirmation. Preparation will be done in person.

There are 3 manditory preparation session for both your child and yourself.

Session 1: Thursday, October 29th
Session 2: Wednesday, November 4th
Session 3: Thursday, November 19th
All sessions are 7-8 pm at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Tilbury

**Parents are required to remain during their child’s session, as there will be a session specifically designed to prepare and support parents.**

The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on
Wednesday, November 25th at 7 pm at St Francis Xavier Parish.

Formally registering at a Parish is a useful practice - like being formally registered with a primary care physician. It allows our office to better serve you and your family. You also remain free to attend Mass at other parishes and we won't "spam" you with communication. We encourage all families receiving sacraments within the parish to formally register. It is not however a condition of being able to receive the sacraments. If you would like to register at this time, please contact the parish directly.

Time Commitment Required for Preparation:

Preparation is required for this sacrament. Sessions will be in person and some work will be done at home. Another vital key to preparing your child for the sacraments is by your own prayerful example, and in particular by attending Mass with us in person on Sundays.

As part of the journey to Confirmation, we ask that each candidate complete 5 hours of community service before their Confirmation.
We ask a program fee of $30 to cover materials and supplies.
