The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus, meet human needs, and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.
It is our pleasure to assist the most vulnerable in our communities.
We are currently accepting applications for Christmas Food Gift Cards and Christmas Gifts for Children (0-17 years of age).
Due to increased demand and limited resources, eligibility guidelines are now in place to help ensure assistance reaches those with the greatest need.
Who Is Eligible?

Applicants may be redirected to a different Salvation Army location if another location is better suited to serve their area. Proof of address will be required at pickup.

These guidelines are based on Statistics Canada low-income thresholds.
You will be asked to declare your household's combined income during the application process. Proof of income for all household members may be requested before an application is approved.
Households with incomes above these guidelines may still be considered for assistance based on exceptional circumstances. If your household income exceeds the guideline, you will be asked to provide additional information about your current financial situation.
The purpose of this program is to help individuals and families provide a special Christmas meal and gifts for their children. We recognize the many financial pressures households face throughout the year, and it is our hope to help reduce some of that burden during the Christmas season.
