Anew, based at Royal Roads University, is a research collaborative working in partnership with adolescents and young adults (AYAs) and care allies (healthcare providers, decision-makers, supporters, researchers, and community organizations) to reshape cancer care and support for AYAs in British Columbia, Canada and beyond. To this end, we host both individual and group sessions with AYAs and care allies to inspire meaningful change. www.anewresearch.ca

This London Global Cancer Week session is led by Anew in partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust UK, University of Leeds, MNJ Institute of Oncology Hyderabad, Young Adult Cancer Canada, the Netherlands Cancer Institute, and more.

The session explores the evolution of AYA cancer care and support and showcases some promising innovations in AYA cancer care and support globally. Through the conversation we seek to creatively explore the distinct challenges and opportunities that need to be addressed over the next decade to continue to advance and improve AYA cancer care and support globally and address inequities.
