Condo 750 is looking for a caterer/caterers for the upcoming event being held in Condobolin, NSW on Friday 2nd April - Sunday 4th April 2027.
The Condo 750 attracts over 100 entrants each year in addition to support crews, spectators, local event admirers and volunteers - all of whom need to be fuelled for an action packed weekend!
Catering at Condo 750 operates out of a commercial kitchen at our venue - Condobolin SRA Pavillion - with canteen-style on-the-go catering on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, canteen-style breakfast and lunch only on Sunday followed by a sit down dinner for approximately 350 people on Sunday night.
Due to the different natures of the canteen-style catering and presentation dinner, we are open to splitting the catering into packages, options being:
- Canteen only
- Presentation dinner only
- All catering
Approximate weekend timeline with regards to catering peaks:
- Breakfast: available from 7am on Friday, 5:30am Saturday and Sunday - peak times 5:30am - 7am on Saturday and Sunday before racing begins.
- Lunch: peak time between 11am - 2pm each day, with particularly high & rushed demand on Saturday and Sunday as competitors and support crrews have limited turnaround times that can lead to time penalties and race disadvantages if delayed.
- Dinner - Friday and Saturday: available from 5:30pm. Happy to negotiate a 'closing time' that we can advertise to ensure catering staff can plan to wrap up and get their rest as well.
- Dinner - Sunday: Official Presentation Dinner starts at 6pm - approximately 350 people in attendance although the committee will endeavour to advise of RSVP's 1 week out. Recommend buffet style catering/serving for quick turn around - generally served one guest table at a time.
- Snacks available throughout the remainder of the day would be preferable also.
Draft menu items for inspiration:
- Breakfast: bacon and egg rolls, yoghurt/granola/fruit cups, banana bread
- Lunch: quiche, sausage rolls, meat and gravy rolls, steak sandwiches, pre-made wraps and sandwiches
- Dinners: meat and veg, salads, pastas, burgers, etc.
- Presentation dinner: lasagne, roast meat and veg, salads, etc. plus dessert.
Vendors are more than welcome of course to develop their own menu - we require a draft menu with pricing included to be uploaded on this form.
