Studioing: Looping Practice
Welcome to a part workshop, part performance experiment based on Hanna Gillgren’s research Looping Practice, where she will test some new ideas from the practice.Taking the action of looping as a starting point for generating material, the practice examines the relationship between body, sound, and space, negotiating practices of insistence, repetition, transformation and transmission.In the space, everyone shares the responsibility for accumulating, presenting, re placing and reclaiming material, blurring any individual authorship to generate collective sonic and spatial patterns.
