Stories & Sensory Play

This is the perfect opportunity for you to bring stories to life with your child through play and foster a love of reading!

This class is an informal, stations-based class where you and your child will explore different themes through stories and hands-on play.

There will be several books paired with each sensory station, allowing your child to have many meaningful learning experiences throughout class.

While there is no formal lesson during this class, Stacey, the SLP who teaches the Words in Motions classes, will be there to give guidance and play ideas that you can use at home.

This class is designed for 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 year olds with different length stories & books paired with each station.

Your child will build confidence, foster a love for learning & reading, & strengthen their language skills.

*Please Note: This class is NOT a form of speech therapy but can be a great supplement to therapy. They are designed for both children who are meeting their communication milestones and for those who may need a little extra support.

$25.50 per child

👥 Who Can Join:
Children ages 3–7, accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
Class size limited to 10 children.

Sickness Policy: To help keep everyone healthy, please keep your child home if they have had a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, an unexplained rash, persistent cough, sore throat, pink eye symptoms, or any other contagious illness within 24 hours of class. If your child has a runny nose accompanied by other signs of illness or is not feeling well enough to comfortably participate, we ask that they stay home as well.Because we use shared materials and spend time learning together in close proximity, your help in preventing the spread of illness is greatly appreciated.If your child misses class due to illness, tuition is non-refundable, as each class space is reserved in advance.
