Applicant Requirements
• Academic Standing: Must be in good academic standing with a GPA over 2.5.
• Term Limit: All selected applicants will serve in their roles until the next Spring 2027 board election.
Executive Board Positions
President
• Leads the organization and oversees strategic direction.
• Maintains access to social media accounts.
Vice President
• Supports the president and steps in when needed.
• Assists and supports the NSJP representative.
• Maintains access to social media accounts.
NSJP Representative
• Represents FIU SJP at the national level.
• Attends recurring meetings with the National SJP representative.
• Leads the organization's divestment campaign.
Secretary
• Records all meeting minutes.
• Tracks and maintains organization records.
Treasurer
• Oversees the organization's budgets.
• Manages all financial transactions and records.
Marketing Director
• Serves as the primary social media manager.
• Expands the organization’s visibility.
• Handles public outreach initiatives.
Education Chair
• Coordinates workshops, exhibits, and performance events.
• Organizes specific aspects of campus tabling and creates pamphlets.
• Fact-checks materials and provides occasional support to the Marketing Director.
