WONDER Call for Speakers

What do you wonder about the way we plan, design and experience events?

We’re inviting corporate and association event planners to propose a thought-provoking 8-minute presentation that begins with “I wonder…” and explores a question worth asking about corporate events. Challenge a familiar practice, make a compelling argument, or explore both sides of an emerging idea. Bring one clear question, your perspective, and something that will leave the room thinking.

Examples: "I wonder what an event would look like with less programming and more time to connect…" or, "I wonder whether AI will strengthen human connection at in-person events—or get in its way…"

Selected speakers will present on stage in front of our audience of over 100 people and have their talk professionally filmed. We've teamed up with Jonathan Productions who will film, edit, and deliver a recording of your talk for your own personal speaker reel.

Proposals will be shared with registered WONDER guests for voting to help shape the program. Venue Series will confirm the final speaker lineup. Selected speakers will be notified no later than December 1, 2026. Applying does not guarantee selection.

If selected, I assign to O2D Media Inc., operating as Venue Series, all copyright that I own in the original presentation content I create specifically for my WONDER talk, effective upon delivery of the talk. This excludes third-party material and my pre-existing materials; for any such material I include, I confirm I have authority to permit its recording and use as described here. I authorize Venue Series and Jonathan Productions to photograph and record my presentation and to use, edit, reproduce, publish and share the full talk or excerpts, together with my name, voice, image, likeness, bio and headshot, on social media, websites and in promotional materials worldwide, without further approval or compensation. I consent to reasonable editing and excerpting for these purposes. Venue Series grants me permission to keep and share the professional video supplied to me for my personal speaker reel and professional promotion. I further authorize Venue Series to share my name, organization, talk title and proposal summary with registered guests for speaker voting, and to use my bio and headshot in the program and event promotion if selected. My email address will not be included in voting materials.

Selected speakers receive complimentary access to WONDER, including a private client dinner post-event (January 28, 2027 at W Toronto). Details regarding logistics, parking, sound checks, attire, and more will be shared with speakers upon notification of their selection.
