    Job Description: 

    Part-Time Security Specialist

    Position Overview

    Frontline Safety and Security is seeking professional, reliable, and people-oriented Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment for clients, residents, and the public. This role goes beyond traditional security and emphasizes presence, communication, and de-escalation.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct routine patrols 
    • Maintain visible presence to deter unwanted activity
    • Monitor access points
    • Respond to incidents calmly and effectively
    • De-escalate conflicts using communication
    • Observe and report activity accurately
    • Complete detailed reports (DARs and incidents)
    • Communicate professionally with clients and public
    • Coordinate with emergency services when needed

    Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Washington State Guard Card
    • Valid driver’s license 
    • Reliable transportation
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Security, military, or law enforcement experience
    • Construction or property security experience
    • De-escalation training
    • CPR/First Aid certification

    Work Environment
    • Indoor and outdoor environments
    • Construction, residential, and commercial sites
    • Night, weekend, and holiday shifts

    Physical Requirements
    • Stand and walk for extended periods
    • Patrol large areas
    • Respond quickly to incidents
