Program Overview:
Wynner's Academy prepares students for two possible paths after high school: building a business or building a career.
Through our 6 week Summer Program, students participate in hands on learning, career exposure, mentorship, company visits, professional development, and interactive workshops designed to prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
Students will receive exposure through our two B.A.I.L.S. learning tracks:
Entrepreneurship B.A.I.L.S.
Banking • Accounting • Insurance • Legal • Social Media & Marketing
Students explore what it takes to start, operate, and grow a business. They will gain experience with budgeting, pricing, business planning, profit and loss, break even analysis, marketing, professional pitching, and other fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Workforce B.A.I.L.S.
Business Operations • Accounting & Money Management • Industry Exposure • Labor & Workplace Skills • Systems & Technology
Students explore career opportunities while developing practical skills needed to enter and succeed in the workforce. Topics include resume development, interviewing, LinkedIn, workplace communication, financial literacy, technology, teamwork, leadership, and professional expectations.
Throughout the program, students will have opportunities to meet professionals, explore industries, visit businesses and organizations, strengthen their professional skills, and apply what they learn through real world activities.
Our goal is for every student to leave Wynner's Academy with greater confidence, stronger professional skills, increased financial knowledge, and a clearer understanding of their options for college, career, and entrepreneurship.
