Mahjongg for Beginners

Saturdays from 1:00-3:00pm
November 7th, 14th, 21st, & December 5th

Join Maxine for a 4-part workshop to learn all the ins & outs of how to play Mahjongg. By the end of 4 weeks you will be ready to play anytime!

Mahjongg is a tile-based game with a rich history. Played With a set of beautifully designed tiles, it combines skill, memory, and a bit of luck.

Your instructor Maxine Campbell has extensive teaching experience. She was most recently a professor at High Point University. Maxine travelled to Asia for career as a product designer. She plans to also offer workshops in the Custom designing of Mahjongg tile bags. Maxine's passion for the game will inspire you to enjoy the learning of it.

Fee: $120.00 --will cover instruction time for the 4 classes & materials needed to play.

Space is limited to 8 players, minimum of 4 needed.

Disclaimer for pay in person option:

Submission of this registration form reserves your spot in class.

If the class becomes more than half full, prepayment will be required to hold your space. Payment may be made in person or online through an invoice and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

If paying in person please make sure to select which class you are signing up for below.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice, regardless of whether you have prepaid or plan to pay in person. This policy allows the instructor to prepare supplies appropriately and ensures that spaces are available for others.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice or failure to attend will result in full payment being due, and an invoice will be issued.

Email info@can-nc.org with any questions, concerns, or to receive a refund prior to the 7-day policy if prepaid.
