  • Heat safety & severe weather

Player safety comes first. TNFC monitors weather forecasts and conditions at the ground, including heat, humidity, sun exposure, available shade, player age and health. Coaches may reduce intensity or duration and provide extra water, shade and rest breaks.

Training may be postponed, shortened, stopped or cancelled if conditions are unsafe, including excessive heat, lightning, severe weather, unsafe grounds or council closures. Decisions follow the Football Victoria / TNFC Heat Safety Policy.

Bring a filled water bottle and suitable sun protection. Tell the coach immediately if a player feels unwell, dizzy, unusually tired or overheated. Parents must check club communications before travelling and arrange prompt collection when required.

  • Cancellation & refund policy

To the extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable for individual sessions cancelled, postponed, shortened or interrupted due to heat, rain, storms, unsafe grounds, coach unavailability, council or venue restrictions, or TNFC football department operational decisions.

No make-up classes will be provided for sessions cancelled due to weather conditions or council restrictions or closures. This does not override TNFC's published refund policy or your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including any applicable right to a refund, credit or other remedy. Whole-programme cancellation and significant changes will be assessed under that policy and applicable law.

Please read the TNFC Refund & Cancellation Policy before registering. Contact president@tnfc.au with any request.
