Welcome to Phase 1: The Official Nomination Round!

The 2026 Triangle Real Producers Awards Gala is coming up on November 16th, and it’s time to highlight the standout agents and teams across our local real estate community. This is like the Academy Awards of Triangle real estate – and local licensed agents are members of the Academy! To keep things clear here is how our two-step awards process works: 

 

• PHASE 1: Nominations (OPEN NOW) — Tell us who deserves recognition! In this round, you are submitting candidates for award categories to help build our shortlist of FIVE nominees per category. You may nominate candidates in as many (or as few) categories as you’d like. There are a total of eight categories below in which agents can submit nominees.

PHASE 1 - the Nomination round - is open now through EOD Wednesday, Oct. 15

 

• PHASE 2: Final Voting (COMING SOON) — We will tally all submissions and reveal the Top 5 Nominees per category—Oscar-style! Once the finalists are announced, a second round of voting will open to you to select the official winners. (Note: In this phase there will be three additional categories you can vote on, where the nominees are actually chosen by the staff of Triangle Real Producers: Cover of the Year, Photoshoot of the Year, and Rising Star.) 

PHASE 2 voting will begin Thursday Oct. 16 after the nominees are announced

 

 Nomination Rules & Guidelines

• Who Can Nominate: You must be a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Agent. (Note: You do not need to be a Real Producer Top 500 agent to submit nominations—all active NC agents are encouraged to participate!). In addition to agents, Preferred Partners of Triangle Real Producers are also eligible to submit nominations.
• Only one submission per licensed agent will be counted. To ensure integrity, you must submit your Full Name, Brokerage Name, and Email Address with your form. (Preferred Partners, submit your company name in the "Brokerage" field.) Nominations submitted by non-licensed individuals, or duplicate entries, will not be tallied.
• You don’t need to submit a nominee for each award. Feel free to submit nominations for just one, a few, or all eight award categories.
• You may nominate yourself
• You may nominate the same person for multiple categories

1. Team Champion Award (Top-producing supporting player)

• Recognizes the powerhouse team member who delivers massive value and production not under their individual name but rather under the umbrella of a high-performing real estate group.
• Eligible Nominees: Individual Real Estate Agents who produce as part of a real estate team or group.

2. Team of the Year (Top team)

• Honors a high-performing real estate team that demonstrates outstanding collective production, strong operational synergy, and an exceptional group culture.
• Eligible Nominees: Real Estate Teams
  

3. Industry Connector Award (Networker, connector, actively builds local community)

• This is the person who knows everybody— the ultimate networker and collaborator—someone who builds genuine bridges across brokerages, transacts with supreme professionalism, and most importantly, takes an active leadership role in supporting and elevating the local agent community.
• Eligible Nominees: Real Estate Agents and Team Leaders.
  

4. The Impact Award (Non-profit/charitable work)

• Honors an individual who makes a tangible, positive difference in the community through dedicated non-profit work, charitable initiatives, local fundraising, or cause-driven leadership.
• Eligible Nominees: Real Estate Agents and Team Leaders.
  

5. Inspiration Award (Inspirational Personal Journey)

• Highlights an individual whose personal journey—whether shared in a magazine feature or community nomination—demonstrates extraordinary resilience, triumph over personal or professional hardship, and perseverance that deeply inspires others.
• Eligible Nominees: Real Estate Agents and Team Leaders.
  

6. Real Producer Royalty Award (Industry Icon)

• An agent/team leader who has been active in the industry for at least 25 years -- a true titan of the local real estate market with a long-standing track record of success. Someone who has shaped local industry standards, mentored the next generation, and established an enduring professional legacy.
• Eligible Nominees: Real Estate Agents and Team Leaders who have been licensed for 25 years or more
  

7. Industry Influencer Award (Online and in-person impact)

• Blends digital presence with real-world industry leadership. Recognizes someone who dominates branding and social media while using their platform to educate, lift up peers, and elevate the reputation of local real estate.
• Eligible Nominees: Real Estate Agents and Team Leaders.
  

8. Real Producer of the Year (Flagship Individual Producer)

• THE HIGHEST INDIVIDUAL HONOR OF THE EVENING. Awarded to an elite agent or producing team leader who sets the benchmark in our local industry for overall production, client advocacy, and professional integrity.
• Eligible Nominees: Individual Agents and Active Producing Team Leaders. (To qualify, nominees must be directly responsible for closing their own personal transactions (this category excludes non-producing team leaders)).
