90th Anniversary Committee Interest
MRPA will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2027, providing an opportunity to honor the Association’s history and celebrate the parks and recreation profession. The committee will develop and recommend ideas for meaningful and engaging ways to commemorate MRPA’s 90th year. Committee members will collaborate to explore celebration ideas, identify opportunities to recognize MRPA’s history and impact, and recommend events that engage members and celebrate the profession. The committee composition will reflect broad representation across MRPA’s membership, including geographic region, and agency type and size. This structure will help ensure the committee reflects a variety of perspectives and generations of MRPA membership. This is a one-year term, serving from December 2026 through December 2027.
