2027 CARE HEALTH LEADERSHIP APPLICATION

Program Description:

The CARE Health Leaders program is a nine-month training program designed to build shared knowledge with adults 18+ about health disparities and solutions for creating health equity at the neighborhood level. Together, we will learn about Hartford's neighborhoods, health challenges, engaging with community, and leadership development, all with a focus on improving health in Hartford. The program will be held in-person with meals and childcare provided.

Program Dates:

Bi-weekly meetings will be held in-person from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm from January 2027 to September 2027.

Compensation:

Eligible participants will receive a total stipend of $2,700, provided they meet the participation and program requirements.
