Northern IL Card Show Dealer Terms & Conditions
These terms are between AptoCel Strategic Advisors, LLC, doing business as Northern IL Card Show ("Organizer"), and the dealer named on the application ("Dealer").
Submitting this application does not guarantee a table. A table is reserved only when Organizer confirms it in writing and the Dealer has paid in full. Organizer may decline or waitlist any application.
Fees and payment. Table fees are due in full within within 5 business days of the dealer receiving approval on their application. If you submit your application within 5 days of the event, payment from the Dealer is due immediately upon receiving approval from the Organizer. Fees cover table space only and do not include admission for staff beyond a total of two people per table.
Cancellation and refunds. Dealer cancellations received at least 45 days before the show receive a refund less a $6.25 processing fee. Cancellations after that date are not refundable, but Organizer may release the table to a waitlisted dealer and, at its discretion, apply the fee toward a future show.
Show cancellation. If Organizer cancels or reschedules the show for any reason, including venue closure, severe weather, or events beyond its control, Dealer's sole remedy is a refund of the table fee or a credit toward the rescheduled date.
Organizer is not liable for travel, lodging, or other costs.
Setup and teardown. Setup is from 7:30am-9:00 am on show day and the show opens to the public at 9:00am. Dealers must remain open until 3:00pm and may not break down early without approval from the Organizer.
Table assignments are made by Organizer and may change. Table numbers can be requested by the Dealer at the time of purchase, although they are not guaranteed given the layout may change depending on volume of dealers and attendees.
Sales tax and licenses. Dealer is solely responsible for obtaining all required licenses and for collecting, reporting, and paying all applicable sales and use taxes on sales made at the show, including any Illinois special event tax reporting. Dealer agrees to provide its Illinois sales tax registration number, or a statement of exemption, if requested.
Merchandise and authenticity. Dealer represents that all items offered are genuine and lawfully owned. Dealer will not sell counterfeit, stolen, or altered items, or items misrepresented as to grade, authenticity, or condition. Dealer will disclose any trimming, restoration, or alteration on request. Organizer may remove any item or Dealer that violates this section without refund.
Weapons, illegal items, and anything the venue prohibits are not permitted.
Liability and insurance. Dealer sells at its own risk. Organizer is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury to Dealer's property or staff. Dealer is encouraged to carry its own inventory insurance. Dealer will not leave inventory unattended.
Indemnification. Dealer will indemnify and hold harmless Organizer, the venue, and their owners, employees, and agents from claims arising from Dealer's sales, conduct, or items offered.
Conduct and trading area. Dealers and their staff must behave professionally. Trades and sales are transactions between dealers and attendees. Organizer is not a party to them and does not guarantee any transaction. Organizer may remove anyone who violates these terms or venue rules.
Photography and marketing. Dealer permits Organizer to photograph and film the event, including Dealer's table and staff, for promotional use. Dealer will not use Organizer's name or branding without written permission.
Trademarks. Northern IL Card Show is not affiliated with or endorsed by any professional league, team, player, or card manufacturer. All third-party names and logos belong to their owners.
General. These terms are the entire agreement for table rental. Illinois law governs, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of Lake County, Illinois. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
